Zeer opvallend in mijn charts is de cover van Bettye LaVette. Ik houd namelijk helemaal niet van covers. Maar Bettye LaVette heeft dit jaar zo'n goed album gemaakt, vol met covers, dat ik niet kom laten.

CLASSIC OF THE WEEK: Stevie Wonder - Superstition



Eerst gaf ik nog aan niet meer als twee nummers per artiest te plaatsen in mijn lijstje, maar onder 'Warrior' kon ik niet uit. Daarnaast is het qua stijl ook nog eens totaal anders. Daarom een mooie hoge nieuwe binnenkomer.
Een soort electronic meets funk uitstapje van José James. Het was even wennen, maar wat een fantastisch nummer is dat geworden zeg!

Het WK staat voor de deur en de liedjes rondom het WK komen ook uit. Misschien wel de beste daarvan is die van R. Kelly. Het officiële anthem van het WK.

Sade is de eerste artiest die met een tweede nummer in de lijst is gekomen. Eigenlijk kan je je met het werk van Sade nooit een buil vallen en de titelsong van haar nieuwste album is prachtig. Mede door de marcherende beats.
